Our Long Awaited Recital and Awards Ceremony :))))

Last Friday, June 14, 2013 we held our annual awards ceremony, and recital. The second grade continues to amaze me with their poise, and maturity. I am so proud of all their hard work, and effort through such a difficult year. For our part in the recital, second grade wrote their very own poetry. They worked so hard, and had such a seriousness about them while  working on what they presented. In class we worked on Poetry in Reading and Writing Workshop, and the class truly enjoyed it. It was abundantly clear in the way they recited their poetry. 

I am truly a proud teacher ... :)
