Our Trip to the Aquarium

Before the hurricane we went on our first trip of the year to the NYC Aquarium. The kids had so much fun. They participated in a workshop, and had a chance to see and touch different artifacts such as: shark teeth, scales from a fish, and fish eggs. They had such a good time. After the workshop we had a chance to walk around the Aquarium and see Sharks, Penguins, and fish. :)

Can you imagine what fish and penguins have in common? Children compare and contrast the characteristics of these fascinating animals via story, biofact investigation, and a penguin/fish puppet art activity.
