Pesach!!!

Dear Parents,

We have been very busy in the Second Grade learning all about the upcoming holiday of Pesach.

We learned the story of the Jews leaving Egypt with lots of songs that the children love to sing and act out!

We learned that the Jews left Egypt in a big hurry and had no time for the dough to rise and baked into Matzah.

This past Wednesday the children went on a trip to the Model Matzah Bakery. They had a great time  watching  the process of  how we make Matzah. They experienced  from the very beginning of making the Flour from wheat to rolling out their own Matzah which they got to eat for lunch.

In addition the children are working very hard on their Pesach Haggadah to use at the Pesach Seder.

They can’t wait to take it home and use on PesachJ
